Hi everyone im officially a prepper my wife tells me i have storage shelfs in garage and just bought glass jars 1kg to store dried food in i just want any ideas of what i could store in them and there shelf lives. (lookin

Garage temp is cold beleve me im wanting to store Rice but also put oxygen absorbers in them how long would the rice last? Also with dried pasta again with oxygen absorbers in them?
i sure rice in an airtite jar will last at least 20 years and pasta (none egg) will last the same. as for other things you could think about dehydrated peas/sweetcorn stuff like that even seeds so you could have a renewable food source
