Hi new from Northamptonshire

i,m John from Northamptonshire,a total beginner in prepping,but trying my best.I am prepping for several reasons,but the main reason is,i just feel that sooner rather than later fuel and food will soon become too expensive to buy,its already happening with over inflated prices at the fuel pumps,next will be food due to transportation costs.
I grow my own vegetables,some soft fruit and have a few chickens which we feed on food scraps.I am looking to becoming self sufficient from the garden in the near future.
The car will be going at the beginning of February due to costs,and i will be converting to pedal power.
