I think they could be useful as a back up, but probably more of a hobby skill and confidence builder/

Although they always remind me of THIS

Not sure for what though :?

Throwing a knife to/at what?

Not a good hunting skill, not a good anti-zombie skill, so what useful attributes does knife throwing have?

if at any point a zombie is wanting to be friends and ive chosen i dont want that - im sure a knife in the face at 10m would be a good start to saying 'no thanks' followed by a lump of wood to whack it after??

im sure that 'throwing' and hitting targets is a very good skill to develop, and i think that this is a good way to improve that.

im not in a position to buy crossbows or rifles, and dont have the land to use them effectively anyway.

so this is my little alternative.

its my little piece of fun.... ill let you know if its a pointless waste of time or if thre zombies actually get the message and leave me alone :D

It does look like fun, and it's something I've considered just for the fun of it too. That and maybe these.

If I tried that right now, I'd lose a finger or two. Mind you, the Bellhaven 80 Shilling probably wouldn't help any!

Anything that improves dexterity, hand/eye co-ordination and fine motor skills is a good thing :)

Learning to play darts will probably get you further in life ;) , a knife at 30+ feet would be impressive if you can not only hit the target but get it to go in  Looking foreward to seeing the results of your training and practice :D
