Hi my name is Thom McDonald. I live in Manchester north west UK with my wife and two kids, we've been prepping for around 4 years and now looking to start a prepping/survival team to prep plan and survive when something goes dowb.

hello and welcome , it might be an idea to get to know people and let them get to know you before you decide on who you want to group together with .

stick around and get a few posts under your belt and ask again .
YES i walked away mid sentence , you were boring me to death and my survival instincts kick in .

Im not planning on rushing a team together,like you say getting to know people first is key.

The way that i see it, we are already a team. It just takes a bit more relationship building and then we have a community, and then, despite the fact that we are all doing "it" in different ways, we can all share our skills and knowledge and even trade in goods and services and look out for each other.

You can start off by keeping in touch through this forum and then move on to face to face meetups and before we know it, we will be friends and so on.
