Well worth a read. Written in the 1940's by a lady who went to live in the woods and mountains of Maine. Brings out some interesting thoughts relating to prepping. They needed multiple skills from knitting to mechanics. Also talks a lot about the planning ahead when you arent 10 minutes from a shop.
