Love my BSA Lightning XL although it is supposed to be ambidextrous as a southpaw lefty have always found it to be slightly vague, had some leather left over from another project (Offcut from ebay v cheap) attached cheek piece and pistol grip patches with superglue - what an improvement.
Esp the additional pistol grip swell has enhanced the positioning of the trigger hand much more solid and repeatable.
Think it adds a bit of class as well - overall v pleased tried it out a club day on Sunday marked improvement...
Let me know your thoughts....
PS Gun Sling is an nylon guitar strap held on with leather thongs wrapped in self amalgamating tape - vertically silent in the field also the positioning of the rear stud allow the butt of the rifle to be level with head when carried muzzle down.
PPS Emergency reserve ammo held in cross hatching in stock recoil pad.

Re: tweaked for left handed air gunners
Looks good! If you don't mind, I'd like to send your pics to a shooter friend who has moved to left hand due to a stroke. Don't know if it will assist him in utilising existing stocks but i would imagine it would be expensive for new stocks etc. so any ideas might help. Bit of a shame cause he's out of everything but bench rest competitions now and was one hellava shot!

BigmcKin - sure no prob with you forwarding the photo/idea. Please wish your friend all the best must be tough.
The pistol grip has a double layer of leather to bulk up the palm feel made a significant difference - keep me posted if it works...

why do left handed shooters always suffer when it comes to guns ive got an air arms s410 and had to pay an extra £100 for a left handed model witch is a universal stock and the bolt moved to the outher side
