Welcome pietka
Glad you are starting to prep, there's plenty to read and learn from the UKP folk
My advice for anyone new to prepping / survival are..
Water
Food
Fuel
Clothing
Assuming you have shelter then just add a few provisions as time goes on
from there on its just a matter of working out what kit and supplies best suit your needs

Welcome to UKP!
I guess the first thing you have to ask yourself is what specifically are you prepping for,and go from there!

Hi pietka,
Yes it can all seem bewilderingly daunting to start with as there is so much you could start collecting and storing. Don't worry it all becomes clearer fairly rapidly, especially after you've made a few lists!
Decide what situations/scenarios you are prepping for and start with the basics. You can't do it all at once so look at what lone wolf has suggested and go from there.
You've taken the biggest and most important step in deciding you need to prepare, so well done, you're already ahead of the majority of the people (sheeple) around you.
Good luck, and ENJOY prepping.

Hi, welcome to the site. Like the others have said... take your time and work out what your priorities are
We just started making a list of tips to help new preppers and it can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=34&t=694 It's not the finished article and needs tidying up a tad
but it should hopefully give you a few ideas
