really good. i would love to do this...but alas im a total dweeb when it comes to motors and things.

time to google around and get learning then...... :D

thanks, going through these this morning, appreciated :)

its just all stuff electrical - ive ignored it all my life (and been reliant - yes i know) so to build one of these would be like alien technology to me.

a good reason to learn, so i will

No, not really, I intend to 'up sticks and move' sometime in the future and dont wish to be 'weighed' down any more than necessary.
Most of my 'projects' at the moment tend to be of a smaller type which give me limited but multiple redundancy.

I found the link via another site and then via another and just thought someone out here might find it useful.

When it comes to DIY projects, I am very much still at the beginner stage but am enjoying learning new skills. And even though I dont intend to try many of the things I have read about here they have certainy given me ideas as to other projects I would like to attempt one day.
