But if you are semi rural, then outdoor cooking techniques could come in handy, but also alcohol stoves and a kind of alcohol that you can burn indoors such as bioethanol would be useful. Also, cheap one burner gas stoves maybe. Then thee is food stores and then you are settled and can work on more specific location, circumstance an concern based issues.
