Hi,
Not a ripoff, MH do a sample pack for £49 this includes about 10 pouches and is a great way to see if you like the taste. I have a couple of the 3 month kits hey do, I think of them as an insurance policy as I don't have to worry about them for 20 years.

Try the pouches but add 5 minutes to all the quoted times, if you like them and can afford a 3 month pack go ahead.

If they are a rip off why are they the biggest supplier in the world for long term food storage and bought by everyone from single preppers to government agencies and NGOs???

Well just tried a chicken tikka with rice from mountain house. Bought a single sachet to test and myself my wife and two girls all agreed that it was pretty good. It needed a little salt in my opinion but I would happily sit and eat it anytime. I know they are expensive but am tempted to buy a tin or two to chuck in the cupboard and forget. Lets face it in 20 years when im retired and skint a tasty chicken tikka for £6 is going to be a bargain lol.
