DK rocket stove

Post by Juggernaut »

Has anyone used one of these before, I'm looking at buying one shortly and would like some opinions.

Looks virtually bomb proof in construction!

I have a standard rocket stove made out of clay based material. Can't remember the name. It's a bit sturdier than this and pans would sit better on it. However this does look interesting.

How much is it? Mine was around 60 pounds delivered.

Here it is stovetec combo can use wood and charcoal for 10 quid more ( though out of stock here)

imagine putting your hand in an open fire ! :D a rocket stove of any type is more fuel efficient, and that looks a great one :D

For the backpackers out there .........

There are now a number of very small devices being sold on Ebay designed for walkers and similar.

Now they are becoming more common prices seem to be coming down.
Only a couple of weeks ago they were fetching bids of £40 plus...now there are 'Buy it now' versions for around £24 total.
