Homemade Antibiotics

Post by Djorn »

Hey Preppers,

About to start making Homemade Anti-biotics. Been reading a lot on Herbs and got hold of some good books that detail the usage of herbs and spices.

Have bought Turmeric, Garlic, Cayenne & Ginger, ordered the empty capsules off Amazon and hopefully make about 200 next week....just need a willing patient or an infected cut LOL.

Also started growing Garlic and herbs in pots...

Interesting! How do you mean, *making* them - making dry mixes of the herbs you mention? Pics of what you do, and some linkies, would be great. Fascinated by this!

I have thought a lot about stuff like this - providing medical products/aid without using modern science.
Would be very interested to hear about any results you achieve.

For my own part I have decided that the area of garden I have is really too small to raise any real quantity of food crops - bar a few salad leaves, and maybe a fruit bush of some kind, but there is enough space to grow a pretty good medicinal herb garden - just waiting for a bit more spring like weather and that will be my project for the year :)

Antiseptic & antbiotic for cuts aloe vera, oregano oil, good old salt will clean a wound...
if you know what your doing there is natural penicillins like penicillium genus on salami
and other moulds found in graveyards that look yellow NEVER EVER USE BLACK MOULDS you would have to read read read to work it all out...Another good tip is red LED light help wounds heal faster if used daily.

Most will never be able to reproduce a viable Asprin tablet without the availability of a full lab and a lot of knowledge and many years of chemistry, so how will you know if these concoctions will be viable and safe to use? There is often a fine line between medicine and poison, not sure I would want to be using a lot of things in home made pills

Honey is great.....
Honey is an antibiotic, topical and internal. Garlic can be used but I dont like it so dont know any more about it. Look into herbal medicine, lots of herbs have antibiotic and antiseptic properties but honey is fantastic, stock up on that. It will heal any open wound even diabetic ulcers.
Poultices made hot with herbs will draw pus as well. But not sure how anything would work with modern day superbugs.
This is taken from one of our many threads on alternative medicine. Just type honey into the search box and have a mooch.
