Thanks for the welcomes!
I'm not really sure what I'm prepping for... No electricity, gas, communications. We're pretty good for that alreadyas we discovered when we had a power cut that lasted most of the day/evening/night not long ago and our house was the only one with lights and even TV! LOL

Although I'd like to be a bit better set up and I'd like to understand what it was the hubby did to get that for us as he sorted it all out and I just sort of kept the kids happy.
I'd like to have a better store of food and water too. Again, not too bad - we could last a good week or two at the very least without rationing - but I'd like to be a bit more comfortable and better set up in that respect too.
I guess I'm lucky in that hubby lived a fair proportion of his life in a house with no electricity, gas, working sewerage etc before he met me. He feels we're pretty well set up as we are, but I'd just like to KNOW a bit more about it, if that makes sense?
So yeah, I guess although I say we're starting from scratch we're not really as we (as in hubby) has some knowledge... But I feel totally un-educated and un-prepared and would like to learn more about the whole lot I suppose.
I plan and prepare for everything - except an emergency. So I'm looking to learn more and become better prepared.
