Compared a 38cm yellow lightstick, bought from The Works for 98p against a Cyalume 26cm lightstick which cost me £2.50 as part of an eBay batch. The Cyalume one was 0.5cm thicker at a width of almost 2cm and it was 2 or 3 times brighter than the Works lightstick. After 4 hours the Cyalume is still going strong whereas the Works is starting to fade.
Given that the 26cm Cyalumes are hard to come by and much more expensive, I'd still recommend The Works lightstick and will be buying a few more.

The above mentioned lightstick from The Works was still giving out light 1 week later (ok it was VERY faint!). I bought 10 more!
