Sugru

Post by ForgeCorvus »

I've done a search and nothing came up, so I thought I'd post about it
This is what I'm talking about http://sugru.com/about, I ordered some online (a while back) and then had a play about with it.
Basically, if you can make the shape out of blu-tack you can make it out of Sugru. Plus it sticks to almost everything I've tried it on.

Anyone got it, used it or preps it ?

I like the fact that its a small company with a unique product

BTW, you can now buy it in B&Q.

Thanks for the heads up. :)

I'd love to get caught taking a big lump of the beige-coloured one onto an aeroplane!

If it is as good as the advert claim could be useful for repairing the soles of shoes, and for hacking electrical items.

What little I've got left is in the mini packs of 5g each, the pack is a little larger then a wrapped condom but smaller then a single wrap wet-wipe.

If you keep the un-opened packs in the fridge it keeps better...Mind you, mine have a use-by date of September 2012 so I'd better think about rotating them......... Oh, what to fix??

The website says that it is not certified food safe (yet) and only stays fresh for 6 months. its not a long term storage item.
