Staffordshire meet

Post by Staffs prepper »

Hi all
I'm a newbie and I'm wondering if any any meets or the like are set up for people in Staffordshire?

Hello and welcome to the forum.

We would love to know a little bit more about you (we're a nosy bunch). Are you new to prepping? What are you prepping for? etc.....

Meets are advertised in the Groups/RV's section - hnag around, let us get to know you and then people are more likely to meet up. You know what us bristish are like - reserved and takes a lot for us to meet total strangers! :)

Ok here goes

I'm prepping so I don't have to rely on society to provide my basic needs should it fail for any reason. I'm not an anarchist or want to save the world, I just simply want to get me and my family through any troubled times, should they arise.

I have a lot of experience in survival techniques, I own weapons legally and can grow veg, but in the past year i have started to take prepping more serious. So food, water and extra kit are being built up. First aid and medicine iv'e paid particular attention to and I'm just getting into solar power.

My wife is starting to see the logics of what and why i'me doing it and is slowly coming on board, so as all blokes know, that's a big bonus.

I intend to bug out to a location that is remote enough to feel safe from safe from societies less well liked clientele.

This year I am looking for a remote plot of land that we can develop into a safe zone with a container burried under ground and kitted out.

I'm a long way off being where I would like to be with my preps, but keep chipping away and looking forward to meeting and talking with like minded people.
