Will someone help please?

Post by Bladerunner »

I would like someone to make one of these for me.

I will negotiate some sort of deal if anyone can help out.

I know this is on a site with instructions but I wouldn't trust anything I had made myself. ;)

If its the extra weight that a three wheeler can carry then you're better off with a trailer (I might get the one below as some stage). It would be cheaper, easier to store, better of road, and you give yourself more options as you can dismount your gear and hoist it up a tree (for example) then burn off on the now normal bike to come back later:

The problem with admitting there's a problem is having to wipe the sand off your face and do something about it.

I'll build one similar. If it all works out I'll post pictures but I'll need to gather the bits so please don't hold your breath... it may take a week or so...

Proving to be a little harder to obtain the materials... All of the normal fly tipping spots are clear of the scrap I need... Must be something to do with all the new preppers on the scene... That or the fact that the police are actually doing their job for a change.

But don't fret I will make it just as soon as the bits surface.

Coming to the end of the tax year, local councils are trying to burn through what left of their budgets so their funding isn't cut next year.
Round here they've been replanting the hedge the contractors ripped up six months ago by using a flail on new plants.

Give it a few months and your material store will be re-supplied

I made (in my opinion) quite a good copy of the ICE trike I sourced the front end from 2 kids bikes head stocks and forks with wheels acquired from the local tip for £5 off the workers, the rear end was a swinging arm with suspension from a mountain bike including the part of the frame where it joined and the rest was just tubing all acquired locally and the biggest provider was Freecycle and that isn't a pun if anyone has no knowledge of it.

About Freecycle.
Its a Yahoo group you join your local group for free on the net and basically people give locals the opportunity to have free items that may be of use to them rather than go to land fill or maybe cant be bothered to sell and you can also ask locals if they have an item you want that they maybe no longer use and prepared to give away.

Don't underestimate it thinking it will be all junk you will be amazed at what gets advertised there I personally have had three boats for free from the site.

I just found an old photo as it was in its just working trial state which it stayed that way for a long period now under referb

Its a good build, very good infact, but I personally think that having the 2 wheels set up on the back will create more stability when adding things like a roof and carry boxes. Plus if the axel bars an the rear are extended then there will be room for larger compartments.
