A good plan, violently executed now, is better than a perfect plan next week./

After reading about the 60 second plan on http://www.theplacewithnoname.com decided I really should keep my wallet, keys and phone in the same place every night instead of scattering them around the house like I usually do. Also new USB stick will soon be ordered, filled with family photos and copies of important documents, encrypted and stored in the car.

If TSHTF are you that certain your car would be your best option? Or (heaven forbid) someone breaks in and takes it just because you have nothing of value in your car. Do what the rest of us do and attach the USB stick to your BOB. If TSHTF you'd probably take that with you...

Planning to prepare is not preparing. If you've got money in abundance help others without it. If you don't have money READ! information can be more helpful than money in many instances and share what you learn.

Steve, absolutely, theplacewithnoname is an amazing website! But I'd be really careful of storing such a usb stick in your car - even in normal times, there are car thefts, after all. I'd agree with attaching it to your bob. I've been working on that flash drive too - scanning years of photos.

As alcohol fires can be extinguished just by spraying on water, I purchased two dirt cheap plant sprayers from the 99p Stores. It means I can do my alcohol cooking and alcohol bioethanol fireplace stuff slightly safer and can extinguish flames if they get out of control, but before they have ignited any more flammable things in the flat.

Only downside is that they are supposed to be "ladies" plant sprayers, and they are covered in pwetty flower pwints that make them look terribly cute and girly.

I am sure that the girls would hate them as much as I do. Still you got to use anything at your disposal and in your budget.

Plus the tax back. ;)

I got my money's worth out of the last one. Selling that to fund this one - it's bigger and lighter too
