yep you can`t beat a big dog . i have our mollie , 2 yr old geman shepard , she`s doing just fine at keep the locals at bay . she`s not cought one yet but she keeps trying

I've heard that orange peel can be used to repel cats. Try http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=orange+peel+cats. Though I'd go with the dog solution myself. In my case a 12 month old Golden Retriever called Boson.

You could try planting Pee-Off (its a cat repellent plant)

Hmm... I have 3 cats (2 girls and a boy) and built a raised bed box last year - none of them seems interested in it. Even the neighbours cats avoid it. No idea why though.

citrus is particularly effective at displacing cats, you can just chuck orange (or preferably ) lemon skins down or you you can get gel, crystal or ultrasonic cat repellants.

Couldn't you just frighten the offenders once in a while as well with some deliberate misses with a slingshot and using safe ammo such as tin foil balls that deform on impact with a wall thus removing the momentum and ricochets?

hi trying the citrus idea on one of the beds the rest are covered with chicken mesh,will be hit and miss on how often i have to add citrus peel,do like the idea of the sling shot but not really feasible,also thought about returning the crap to the owner lol,

I made frames to pull mesh over my beds-or you could just shoot the cats.
