Bog in a bag
Re: Bog in a bag
Is that the "luggable loo"? The linkie comes up to a general page, but I did a search.
I remember using a toilet like that as a child, when we went to a great-auntie's cottage in Wales that didn't have any plumbing ... I also remember how it smelt, and how it took two grown men to carry it to the bottom of the field to empty it. And using one with some army cadets years later, and one of them fell and spilt it
I'm not sure I'd go for that, to be honest
but its a good find - concentrates the mind!

Or we could go behind a tree and use dock leafs like when I was a lad and went "on the land" with me gran

Re: Bog in a bag
Oh thats quite good!
The "ploo" box pictured just above tho ... that was on Top Gear, in the News section. Jeremy Clarkson sat on it, and you can guess what happened when a man his size sat on a cardboard box with a hole in it ...

Re: Bog in a bag
Are you going to use this indoors or take it with you in a crisis?
2 cheap and simple alternatives....
Indoors, strong bin liner inside loo with paper based cat litter. At the end(or beginning ) of each day simply remove the bin liner and it's contents and replace.
Outside No.1's pretty obvious really, girls get a shewee! No.2's a trowel and baby wipe.
Gawd folks overcomplicate things sometimes!
