Hi from the Fens

Post by xeleraphon »

Just checking in with a first post.

I've lurked for a while so am reasonably sure you're not all totally mad!

I'm not really a "prepper" per se but do like the idea of making one's life as resilient as possible. To me, this means being able to weather the storms of unemployment, interrupted supermarket logistics chains or simple bad weather. Therefore, I have a prepper-like pantry rammed with grub, a productive veg patch and orchard and a stash of income generating investments.

I believe the secret of success (and the meaning of life) to be to enjoy nurturing a garden and riding a bicycle instead of driving a car.

Welcome, also from the Fens!

Prepping for me is like have a plan B and C!
We live in a unsustainable world, there must be a balance, poor people/rich people no more, only prepared people will make it!
