Eating for Victory

Post by Le Mouse »

Yesterday I got myself a copy of 'Eating for Victory' which is a fabulous collection of official second world war instruction leaflets, giving much needed advice on healthy eating on rationed food. Apart from the historical interest (for me at any rate), it's a really good resource for living on very little and doing so healthily.

I have this one Le Mouse. As you say, good for living well on little. That is why I bought it!
(How's the job hunting by the way?)
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.

Job hunting is slightly miserable. Signing on is even more so. I've applied for a couple of jobs and have another one to go for. Just need to hear something and find more jobs to go for. Hey ho. I'll keep on trying.

Positive note, I had my first home grown radishes today which were *fabulous* :D
