I don't see what's wrong with GoOutdoors, they do sell good equipments from many great brands.

They do stock good stuff. Maybe you got gifts from cheap brands. Go Outdoor got lots of great and well known brands in the outdoor community. I am into hiking, hunting and rock climbing, so here are some of the great brands from them:

Mammut, Berghaus, Jack Pyke, Rab, Merrel, Salomon, Regatta, Craghopper, Trespass, Karrimor, Scarpa, Teva, Asics, Hi-Tec, Vango, Coleman, Lowe Alpine, Osprey, La Sportiva, Evolv, Red Chilli, Black Diamond, etc. Just to name a few of these great brand.

So I guess, your gift must be the 10% of the cheap brands which they stock. Personally, I perform Snow and Rock and Cotsworld, since they only stock the best brands.

It depends what you want to get and why. B_M has some good camping gear, and cheap canisters for the briefcase stove too. They have tents, kettles, BBQs.
