Sofa

Recently replaced our leather sofa after one of my dogs decided to dig a hole in it
Got to thinking how much usable leather is on a old sofa of a decent thickness too
Will be posting some pictures of some home made leather items
Also quite a bit of usable timber inside too

Look forward to seeing your work.

Yes, a lot of wood inside a Sofa, I dismantled mine and got at least 2 stoves worth for this winter's camping

Brilliant !! I never thought of getting leather from an old sofa, will be keeping my eyes open now. Did once make a rabbit run from the wooden base of an old divan bed, just covered it with chicken wire - hey presto! love ideas like yours, hate wasting things.

Kuksa its a traditional Sami drinking vessel, I'm told it keeps your tea from freezing before you can drink it.

Fun to carve
