Hi everybody

Post by vindad »

Ok my name is Geoff.
I am living in Hungary at the moment but British born and bred and I shall be returning to the UK later this year back to my
home town of Crawley in West Sussex where I was born in 1960.
I have been prepping for about 1 year now and I am very interested to meet like minded people and I am also somewhat of
a survivalist so prepping was really just the next step but, these days I feel it is a very important step.
Really I think I am about intermediate level in prepping with still a vast amount of knowledge to learn but, I don't think that you
can really ever stop learning when it comes to survival  because no matter how good you are, there is always room for
improvement :)
Also are there any members in the Sussex area or any club meetings ? it would be really great to meet up with other preppers.
Well, that's about all for now except to say I hope to learn a lot here and also maybe in some small way I could contribute to
others here too.

Hello Geoff

Welcome to the forum... lots to see and read about...Hopefully a few things you will find useful.

Hungary...So, Horse bow? ... I am told there are a few good horse bow makers out there.

Lots of people from Sussex here, sure they will make themselves known to you...I am also, but the other end of the county, almost in Kent.

I look forward to your tips on surviving Crawley.

Hey Piglet,

Thanks for the welcome and yes the horse bow is a big thing here in Hungary.

I did archery here too but I am a longbow man, must be the English in me :)

Yes I am returning home to the UK later this year back to my hometown of Crawley and as for
my tips on surviving Crawley, I can sum that up in one word, "run" ok just kidding, Crawley is not so bad
and I guess there are many worse places :)

I know Kent quite well too as I have some family that live over that way :)

I am looking forward to reading and learning lot here too..
