What a shame ... I'd love to download this, but there was all sorts of adware with it, and I don't trust it, sorry.

This PDF was published in 1990. I realise that the fundamentals of how EMPs work and what they do won't have changed since then, but would protection measures and risks changed in the 23 years since then?

Either way, Arzosah, the PDF seems to be available from other sources too. I found a site that had each chapter available for download. I've checked a couple out and they seem fine.

Also, for what it's worth, I've downloaded the PDF and it seems ok. I can't see any adware or whatever with actual PDF itself. Perhaps the site has, but I've scanned the PDF from the site and it seems ok to me.

The link directly to the download from that site is: http://www.everyspec.com/ARMY/ARMY-Gene ... 029318.pdf

I too had no issues downloading the file. Have not had the time to view it though.

Daylen, thanks! I've downloaded the complete pdf now, as per your second link. I've always thought it odd when people get different results from clicking the same link, and now its happened to me! Glad somebody could pop in to save the day :)

@ Arzosah FWIW if your experience of a web site differs from others -especially to the extent of getting ads etc. you should check your browser and or computer. A good tool to get is the no-script add on for firefox. it is a revelation to see what a site tries to do when you load a page, but also if you have picked up a rogue extension it could be polluting your viewed pages.
