MOLLE troubles

Is it just me, or is anyone else finding that molle pouches from different sources do not match up?

I thought the idea of it was that if it said MOLLE it would fit on any other bit of MOLLE kit?

Bit gutted really, just got a new pouch as a presant, the exact one i asked for and the spacing on the straps is so different to everything else i have?

Yes, you do find some don't match up. I've just bought a Condor 6x6 utility pouch to go on my 5.11 MOAB and it does not line up centrally. Also the straps to secure the pack behind the webbing are not a match either. I'm annoyed about that but I suppose the answer is stick to one manufacturer. Bit late for us both, though.

Ive been to my local surplus shop today (although they dont do surplus) they do sell brand new stuff, it all seems to fit with my bag, so I checked the listing of what I bought and the straps are in different places to the picture!

Hi guys, Im part owner in a army surplus shop and I have problems getting matching molle kit, I can, and do "bastardize" kit to make it work, be it new molle, older soldier 95 or even 58 pattern, it will and does fit together, lets face it, if it all matched and fitted properly the world would be perfect!

Ive checked alot of other kits now and in general it all fits, but this pouch i bought is just nowhere near any of it, the seller wont answer emails either, so i can only conclude it is cheap "wannabe" molle.
