This is us.

Post by vassili »

Hmm, where to start really. My wife and myself are not new to this way of life, but have been prepping a little more seriously in the sense that we have been putting down more long term store's the last three years or so. We have a small holding in the west country where we rear and grow a lot of our own food, I was brought up in a farming family and did this till early twenties, then became a slaughterman, the last nearly twenty years I have had my own rural pest control business. My wife also works in farming but is also a very proficient pesty.
When were not working were here trying to keep on top of the never ending chores and preserving the food we produce.
Wild game and foraged food and fish also play a major part in our lives.
Hopefully we can bring something to the forum and in turn learn also.

Hello and Welcome to the forum.

Leaning towards self sufficiency and producing your own food is the best way to weather what may come. I'm glad to see you are already producing your own food and seem to be in a good standing for the future.

First of all welcome to the forum.

I'm sending you a PM - hopefully you have it.

Exactly what Panther said, from me too - you're obviously already well on the way.

Thanks everyone one for the welcome! Briggs, thanks also for the pm, I would imagine I do not have pm ability yet as I could not see any way to reply.
