Hello from East Yorkshire

Post by Snaffle »

Hello all

Thought id finally register after a while lurking, i have recently begun to think of prepping in a larger scale (as big as it has got has been a winter supply bag for the car and a small 24 hour bag for me and the wife in the bedroom).

Currently i am in the process of converting my garage into a bit of a prep area for kit (at the moment it is just a brick building full of junk) have been looking through this site for a while for useful bits of information to help prep.

I am 26 and married with a few week old baby (probably part of the reason i want to be better prepared)

well i suppose thats my little introduction finished :)

Hello and welcome :) The arrival of a wee one is as good a reason as any to think harder about being prepared for what ever life may throw at you. Its amazing how a new life brings everything sharply into focus. (Congratulations btw)

Hi and many congratulations!! Mine is 6 months now, and I can completely relate to feeling differently and feeling the need to provide and protect. Always had an interest in prepping but now after becoming a father it's definitely spurred me to think more deeply about things like this.
