Fitting a water butt for a client tomorrow, found a great deal at wickes

£25 for a 100l compact butt, stand and diverter
Seems solid and very little work to install

I know it's not big but it's a good cheap starting point for people.

It's a great idea, i have one which i convert to drinking water via filtration......
We live in a very wet country so why not. I had to modify my roof slightly to increase the surface catchment area, its great when you can get something for free.

Thanks for the post, I am planning on getting a couple before Summer and doing the same thing. A great source of water, for drinking it will need to be purified but it does give you options certainly.
