I currently have a small holding for growing veg etc but i have a friend who is a mad kit prepper and if TSHTF he would be walking round looking like rambo but bar whats in his cupboards and a few ration packs he's not good on the food storage side due to lack of space,
I suggested a few window boxes could get him a few things but does anyone else have any more sustainable ideas for him or should he just be planning to bug out?

How about some veg for helping maintain your plot?
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

How about flat pack army rations they use very little space and keep for a long time.

Container gardening. If he buys protein supplements, they come in very useful plastic pots that can be cut down into pots for growing stuff
