Young newbi

Post by Young_prepper »

Hi not sure how many young preppers are out there but I'm a 24yo lad ,
And it got my thinking yesterday if I had a powercut , flood, or even worse , could I survive for a few days weeks months , with what I have got in my house and the answer was no , so I found this website
And it all made sense to be prepared for the unknown so anyway hope to chat to you all soon and learn some tips off you thanks terry

Welcome.....

Just remember little steps build up into big stair cases... Dont go bankrupting yourself this week. Its way too easy to get carried away

Check out the likes of the £1 shops, supermarket weekly offers... but think about quality and what you want from an item.... sometimes buy cheap buy twice is true and in a bad situation you wont have the opportunity to buy twice

Make a list of what you want to do and take it from there.... in small steps

start with surviving for a day.. then when you can afford it make it a week and so forth
If your roughing it, Your doing it wrong ;)

Lack of planning on your part doesn't make it an emergency on mine
