Oops ignore that looks like that's for the accessory set only
Re: Anyone seen these before?
Got one. Bought it for hiking.
Pros:
No need to carry/pack/stock fuel.
Can produce (limited) power.
Very high gadget appeal
Cons:
Heavier than other burners (Trangia, jetboil etc)
Hard to light without the included kindling sticks.
Eats fuel like a M***** *****r
Takes (literally) hours of burntime to generate enough amps to charge a phone.
Expensive!
My conclusion: Nice gadget, but not worth it. Unpractical to charge anything since you'd need quite an amount of ½-inch sticks to keep it burning for hours (and forget scavenging those while it burn, it needs refueling very often). Oh and like all fire it produces lots of smoke in the beginning.
Its in my "prepper-box". I use either jetboil or trangia for hiking.

I had a look at one of these in the local camping shop, Nice idea, but expensive and heavy for what it is, It's ok for the gadget geeks i suppose if you really can't live without the mobile phone, bit too gimmicky for me though
think i'll stick to my Kelly Kettle

Re: Anyone seen these before?
Without seeing it, Im assuming its a 'Peltier' device under all that casing?
Heat one side of the plate and you get an electric output, supply a voltage and it will cool down the plate, you can find them inside those crappy baby beer/wine coolers you see at car boot sales. I ripped one out to cool the webcam on the telescope, works a treat.
So some lateral thinking = whats the voltage out= what voltage for my gadget= extension cable= fit voltage regulator and see what happens?
