Hello from West Mids

Post by seagap »

Hello all, am pretty new to this prepping scene.

This forum looks to be full of useful tips and ideas, I'm looking forward to mining it for all its worth!

I'm a city dweller (Coventry) in my thirties but did a lot of camping and hiking as a teen so got a bit of a taste for outdoor life.

I've been watching society slowly fall apart over the years and begun to worry more and more about what the future holds, hence my interest in being prepared for the worst.

I'm going to be a father for the first-time in the spring; I think this has probably given me a wake-up call to be more pro-active and prepared to be able to provide and protect for my family in future in the event of any unusual scenario.

Hope to get to know you all a bit better and gain some valuable knowledge.

Cheers

Thanks.

Is there a policy on buying/selling items on here? I've got some excess equipment/consumables that might be of interest to some of the community here. Don't want to break any forum rules though...

I think the agreement is as long as it is surplus to your requirements and you are not trading then its OK to advertise. We don't have a dedicated For Sale section so post in General Chat.

Obviously your posts will be moderated until you reach 10.
