1970s SURVIVORS tv series to return as audio version

Post by Marcher62 »

Since TEOTWAWKI fiction & film info seems to end up in this section - here's my latest find:

All us oldies who were big fans of the 1970s TV series Survivors can get a new fix next summer.

Big Finish is doing an audio version with appearances by many of the original cast. It will be a continuation of the 70s sieres with a new cast for the main storyline - http://www.bigfinish.com/ranges/coming_ ... /survivors

That's fantastic news!!! :D

I don't recognize any of the cast listed in the press release - where's Lucy and Carolyn?!

For those of you who haven't seen this series it's been posted on youtube.

http://www.youtube.com/user/AftermathShow/videos

you'll hve to scroll through 300 or so videos to find the episodes and each episode has been split into 6 or so 8 min parts but still watchable.

I'm re-watching it now, it's good not just for some of the practical problems that someone might face but also some of the moral dilemmas that may have to be confronted.

A brilliant series, I used to watch it on UK gold years ago.
