If you like a bit of WROL scenario, then I'd recommend 'Going Home' by A American. The lead character is caught 250 miles from home when an EMP takes out everything. All he has is his GHB. On the whole, it's a good read and as the story progresses into realistic WROL situations it will make you stop and think 'What would I do?' and 'Would I have done that?'.
There is a sequel called Surviving Home which is a continuation of the WROL situation once the character has made it home. The scenarios are how I would expect them to be but I'm finding the book is a more difficult read two thirds through, mainly because it's US-focused and as you would expect, everyone has AR15's and AK's at their disposal.
There's a third book in the trilogy called 'Escaping Home', which I haven't read yet and can't comment on.
As for 'Going Home', I'd say it's well worth checking out.

Ditto for Going Home I found it a good read.
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.
