At just 25p each and having read so much good about them on these forums, I felt compelled to buy these:

Well I have been to Lidl and picked up some gear for my car including a nice warm fleece in case I get stuck and a fire extinguisher ( in case I... er... get too warm ;) ). I also got some more medical supplies to supplement my First Aid Kits... Namely: Alcohol Wipes, Sports Cool Packs and GLOVES! My last lot all got used when my car went Tango-Uniform

I also looked at my bank and found more money there than I was expecting, so I've treat myself to a new laptop bag which will double as GHB and a Baofeng Transceiver. Next week I plan on building on my families BOBs a little bit. I also hope to practice some firemaking skills this weekend and will try very (ish) hard not to wander around grunting "MAN! FIRE!" if successful.

Thanks, I got a USB cable and so I'll first see if I can get that working and talking to the unit. Then I'll have a play :)

We're packaging food into weekly blocks to help us portion it out correctly when the need arises.
We're two adults and two children and we've worked out what we can realistically get by on should we need to and having seen it we might add more. This is the stuff we've been getting from Asda when it's on offer and adding it to our normal weekly shop.
