Ok, first things first.
That is not a backpack, its a Seabag (a massive kit bag with shoulder straps) and like the British Deployment bag (shown below) its for hauling a huge load of kit on and off planes, trains and automobiles (well, buses anyway ). I have one (a Deployment bag) and I wouldn't use it for a long distance footpath

ETA, On re-reading this, I sound like a bit of a dick....Sorry about that

Why do you think you need a bag of 120ltrs+ ?

Is this for a GHB, BoB, INCH or as a general rucksack ?

I've bought stuff from Endicotts quite often and I can't fault their customer service or their personal shopper

FC thanks for the reply the link i will have a proper look around in mo. well its to put clothes ect in for a weeks holiday. getting there involves 4 or 5 trains up and down steps and the tube. so thought a large kit bag or whatever would be good and be strong.

Have a look at the Berghaus Vulcan, I have one and there are amazing. You have so much space for everything, the only downside is they don't really have all the whistle and bells, but make up for it in size and weight capacity.

+1 for that. I have recently bought a second one, my first one gave up the ghost after 25 years

Have a look here:

No affiliation, just a happy shopper

I used to maintain a GHB at work, and it was that tough German army rucksack (not the one you link to). Big ole canvas thing, but built like a tank.

My EDC is a Berghaus 18litre rucksack. Handy, although I think the zips are going. I've heard a couple of people complain about the zip quality on Berghaus rucksacks, oddly enough, so may be an issue.

You really need to try one out as it is important. The wrong size will affect you over distance.

Can't find one of these locally :( . is there a difference between the original Vulcan and the Vulcan 2? there is a slight difference of weight and poss of the aluminium frame. might end up buying a new original Vulcan if cant get a 2nd V2. did the measurement thing and size 4 is what it recommends

Thats the sort of trip I got the deployment bag for (The gear and outfit will go in there and the armour in another bag)
Rucksacks (especially large rucksacks) are a PITA on the tube..... And you get office drones tutting at you if you carry anything bigger then a laptop bag :x

Here is where I got mine (cheaper then the bag you linked to)

I really must get a decent ruck...... Got a large ALICE and I don't like it much
