May I suggest taking a look at the tinned food aisle in places like Aldi and Lidl. For £100 you can be well stocked. MREs even French can be an acquired taste.
some ideas:
Water treatment. chemical or filters like the Sawyer range. Water butt to harvest rain water. Water needs are approximately 5 liters per a person per a day
Toiletries: Toothpaste, tooth brushes, Soap tablets, Toilet Paper
Hygiene: Bleach, Dish washing liquid, hand washing laundry powder.
Food items: Milk Powder, Evap milk, Tea Coffee, Sugar, salt pepper, Herbs, Spices, Flour, Yeast, Baking Powder, Cooking Oil.
Tinned Food: Meats, Vegetables, Fruit, Fish, Frankfurters Etc
Cooking Equipement: camping Stove, Gas and Cook-set, Plates, bowls, Cups, silverware (KFS)

Many of our preps are interchangeable and most preppers have plans to cover many scenarios. Some plan to bug in and some plan to bug out. 
I've bought more surgical level stuff, but thats all - a lot of my preps are about making sure I don't need to go shopping during flu season for more than fresh food, to minimise potential viral load
