Porridge oats are great and can even be used to bulk out meat dishes if you need to save money, but I'd have to say for me its Wheat. It can be used to make beer, bread, pasta, Béchamel, cracked wheat is nice for breakfast and it has so many other uses, plus lasts for years.

Anything that makes bread.

I could live without chocolate before I could live without bread and that is saying something.

Mind you, if there was something made chocolate bread. :!: :!: :!:
