Beetroot, long and skinny, fat as well!
Salsify
Pumpkin
Squash

Salady stuff, little gem, round lettuce, rocket etc

Raspberry
Blackcurrant
Gooseberry
Some random hybrid that makes nice jam
Strawberry
Redcurrants
Rhubarb
Grapes white and red
I want to try blueberry this year

Doesn't look much now I've listed it.................... :cry:

Apple tree but birds get that.
Plum tree nothing yet and need to get another.
No time to plant the veggies I'm afraid.

This will be my first attempt at growing fruit and veg, I only have the bottom of my garden to play with as I also have the chickens running about.

I'm planning on :

Tomatoes, moneymaker.
Carrots, Nantes.

My misses' choice of herbs

Not as exciting as some of you guys and girls but this will be my first attempt

Brilliant! You have to start at the beginning, we all do. I suspect you don't have a greenhouse, so those moneymakers should not be put out until the beginning of June. It is my favourite variety, very reliable.

Herbs are always a good bet, on the whole they're as tough as old boots.

I can't seem to keep thyme going though, I only manage to get one season out of it before it goes all woody and dies off :evil:
