I read somewhere itsy that they think that's a fallacy. It doesn't help as much as they thought. Whoever "they" are

I thought it was meat at one point so cut right down on that...but still got it, Then I thought cheese was the culprit so cut that out, still got it, then peanuts (which I used to eat a lot of), still got it, then fat, still got it.....the list goes on :D

Short of living on soup and bread nothing seems to make much difference except eating very small portions which is why I started thinking along the supplement route to give the old pipes a bit of a boost.

I shall try the Aloe Vera juice first as MrsCC has already ordered it, then try some of the other ideas if I dont have any luck

Cheers for the suggestions

On the plus side, I always look at my weight in terms of Boxing ......I've gone down from a Light Heavyweight to a Light Middleweight :D

I knew a bloke with that Teedee, he really struggled with it.

I had blood tests and a chat about the various symptoms and the doc seemed happy with the results. If none of the supplements work I will go back for another chat.

To be honest there is more advice on the internet (with the usual caveats) than what I got from the doc regarding diet etc, her advice was basically "live with it" :?

CC - OH has suffered for years with IBS symptoms. Also corresponded with very bad heartburn/indigestion which is now managed on prescription drugs.
Spent some time on Aloe vera juice and some tablets to compliment it. The juice tasted yuck! Didn't seem to make much difference.
Tried food elimination - found some foods that were a trigger so he avoids those now.
Stress is a HUGE factor - always gets a bad time if things are tough at work.
Unfortunately, he just lives with it although he eats Grape Nuts everyday and has found if he doesn't he goes through a bad patch.

Good luck and I hope you find a way to manage it. I know how grotty OH is when its bad, he gets so washed out.
