Dover Castle is pretty impregnable and has numerous underground sections too, that'd make a great communal BOL.

I'd guess if there where a massive die off a Castle would be a nice long term home but as there so well known they would make you a target.

There are locations just as big and deserted and also well placed for water, defending etc with the bonus of being located in east sussex. I cant place the info on here but one member of the site now works with me on the security team with another member joining soon. Its, as ive mentioned before a great BOL for those in the area.

If interested and lets say for practical reasons not more than 50 miles from lewes, area ( as you need to be able to reach here ) PM me if you are truly up for finding a place with fellow preppers already establising a trust.
