GeeGee, that's great news, I hope it goes really well. And it's a detached house? I am *so* jealous (not horribly so! just in a good way). I hope all your preps stay nicely hidden - there's something to be said for black binbags within plastic crates, and plain cardboard boxes. And as your good friend said, here's to a peaceful house.

Andy? Good grief, I hope the power isn't out long.

I've done almost nothing today - I caught up on vaccinations yesterday, one arm was tetanus, the other was shingles. Felt like I'd been beaten up :( but they're both important to me. The next tetanus jab will be in 5 years time, the last one in 15 years time, which I find *really* funny  Shingles needs another one next year - I've had the disease itself twice already, so I'm obviously vulnerable to it, so as soon as I was offered the vaxx, I bit their arm off

Our was off about 10 minutes the main area that went out was off about 4 hours as timing would have it I'd taken the battery pir lights down to charge

Fortunately everyone was in bed but me

The wander was for a reason my mate has a unit in town needed to know if he needed to come into town to save his tropical fish from the cold it was as quick to walk vs deicing the car

My NHS check up starts tomorrow, being lectured by obese and clinically obese staff how to manage my body and illnesses in a condescending tone always cheers me up.....
