First aid manual downlaod - UK source

Post by DKR »

First aid manual download.

(http://www.remotemedic.org.uk/resources ... dicine.pdf)

The manual itself was published by Adventure Medical kits (USA) and is available as a download. This is a UK source.

The book, Comprehensive Guide to Wilderness & Travel Medicine By Eric A. Weiss, M.D. is well written and comprehensive. This is the manual provided with most of the Adventure Medical kits. As a former EMT and military medic I'm happy to say this is one of the better books out there. Easy to read and understand.

No book or kit is a substitute for training! Sign up for some first aid classes, then use the book to stay current and gain additional knowledge.

Not wishing the forum to land in hot water, have you checked with the host of the file that it is ok to distribute the link? 8-)

No hot water here.
The source pages states : "This page contains links to documents and other resources that readers may find useful." There are no restrictions (password needed) to the site itself.

The site offers a link page which leads to other sites offering additional information.

As a published author myself, I'm keenly aware of issues with both copyright and theft of intellectual property. Rest assured, it is nothing that I do or condone/tolerate.

Any time copyrighted material is posted or linked, it's always good to ask. And keeps the mods happy as well.

Medicine/first aid is one my 'lack of knowledge gaping abyss' areas

This is really appreciated

Thanks
