LOWA Mountain Boot (Task Force collection)

Post by anarchochris »

Just thought I would point fellow preppers to an absolute bargain. Just got mine in the post, so far very impressed. Read many good things about lowa boots but have always found them too expensive until I saw these on sale...

Well worth every penny (I've got mine half price off ebay).

Like 99% of shops, they don't make them small enough for my feet. I struggle with footwear and a lot of the time its kids shoes for me or go barefoot. :x

It is f*in lot of money, bust myself til next pay day buying them. I think it's the right choice though. Earlier in the year I bought some £40 boots thinking I was getting a bargain. They fell apart within a month! I'm hoping the extra spent should mean a good few years of use. In think in the long run it's more economic to buy quality gear and look after it / repair it than buy low grade cheap alternatives over and over again.
