Areas and location maps

Hi - I found a signature link to the network areas and worked out I am in area 9 but there was no area admin listed for 9. Is the network still being actively managed? I also noted a location map link on the forums but it requires an additional password? Could someone enlighten me?

Location map is defunct.

Area coordinators etc is a ongoing project which I have been involved in. It takes a lot of organising and I have not been able to update recently.
I hope to get it back on track soon.
