newbie southwest
Hi and thanks for letting me join.Very new to all this and have taken the decision to start doing a little prepping.Due to events that are currently happening in the world,i think its stupid not to start becoming more self sufficient.I am a father to two small children under 5 and my son has autism so i have to be realistic in the means and ways i can provide for my family if anything would breakdown in society and cause us to be ''dug-in'' at home for any length of time.Looking forward to reading and gaining some great advice and knowledge from all you seasoned preppers and listening to your opinions on things that are going on in the world at the moment. Thanks

Hello nzbred, welcome to the forum! You're dead right, prepping is a way to add to your family's safety and wellbeing, in a lot of ways, especially with small children. Lots of parents on here, with offspring of various ages and needs.
