Help with my wind turbine pls

hi all , happy prepping

Iv got a 24v dc peremanent magnet motor that i will be diy job to genarate electricaty , the major issue im having it the voltage regulator , 1 ,could build 1 but looks abit of a challenge or buy , any way i way wondeering if there was some solar panel regulatrs i could use ?? the are far cheaper to buy than wind turbine regulator , any help pls many thanks

24v altenator regulator should do it ....Do the people you got the motor from not do it ???, would you .not be better off with a alternator ?

Got this last week off amazon along with one of the Biard solar panels.it says it auto switches,12v,24v etc.
planning to link several panels together and build 12volt turbine.will try this out first before getting another for turbine,pretty cheap.
trying to track down 12volt low rpm motor as stuff like alternators (from cars etc) require way too many rpms to generate.

thanks for reply , ordered the motor on ebay , all they do it motors , i could use an alternator will have too look into it , only thing with them is needing power first to magnitise the rotor befor spinning ect , thanks agaion

I believe a charge controller for a wind turbine is a different beast to a solar PV one although you can get Hybrids that do both
