Hello everyone! I came across this site looking for info on long-term food storage and so I thought I'd join and contribute what I've already found. I'm not overly serious a prepper but I do want at least a year's worth of food stored in case of emergency. Thanks all!

What are you prepping for?

Today, when I haven't been sawing up and splitting kindling, I've been backcasting from 2020 using 3 scenarios - 'Normal', 'Hard Times' and 'SHTF'.
Actually, I'd better scrub the 'Normal' scenario hadn't I?

I'm a beginner at this sort of thing. Anyone else ever try it?

*Backcasting starts with defining a desirable future and then works backwards to identify policies and programs that will connect the future to the present.

I should start a thread on it.
